Good Times

This past weekend was one of the best weekends I have had in a while. This is gonna be a pretty long post, so pull up a chair and grab a bag of crack for some energy...

Friday
Went to the Dubliner per the usual happy hour fun. Got my 3 Guinness from Paul, so now I am going to have to find something else to rag on him for. After wearing out our welcome at the bar, went to Jason's to try and put a dent in the 80 beers left over from Tom's bachelor party. This precipitated having to burn things which led to burning a Christmas tree which is a totally great way to celebrate the end of the Christmas season a few months late. Also helped his dog find a new appreciation for Wiedemann. Good times...

Saturday
Taste of Cincinnati in the afternoon along with seeing the Mobile Skate Park downtown. I haven't done that much walking since 'Nam. Don't get me wrong, I love Cincinnati and I love food, but what they charge and what they give you down there just doesn't add up for having to walk 80 miles around downtown. Alas I digress. After being relieved of a lot of money for a little food, ended the night at Wilkey's for a cookout. He bought a keg of Sam Adams, which wouldn't be my first choice, but who am I to turn down free food/beer and help a friend in need of cashing a keg. Good times....

Sunday
Went to church and then Kim had a wedding shower for her sister, so you know what that means. That's right, 3 hours of uninterrupted Playstation time. It was like college all over again. No responsibilities and endless amounts of time to waste. After overheating the PS2, went downtown to meet my friends Megan and Sparky. They were in town from California for the weekend and her sisters graduation. I've known Spark since I was a kid and it's always good to see him. We always seem to find some sort of trouble when we're together. Ate dinner at the Barrel House, hung out at Uno's bar until they closed and then at the hotel bar until they closed. I think I broke my liver this weekend. Good times....

Monday
Did nothing until Tony's cookout. Went over to his crib and hung out and ate. Got to talk to Paul and Sonya. Plus Sonya and I kicked Paul and Aaron's behinds at cornhole. Score. And now the weekend is complete because I have my new angle to use to poke fun at Paul with. He got beat by his wife at cornhole. Good times had by all....
