first off, how about my uc bearcats? they have been tearing the big east up for the last two weeks. granted they are only 9-9 on the season and 4-2 in the big east, but that's pretty damn good considering they were 11-19 and 2-14 respectively. this season they have already beaten syracuse, louisville, 19th rated villanova, and most recently 15th rated pittsburg. that one was especially nice considering my extreme dislike of everything and anything to do with that city.

kim and i had a really nice christmas and new years this year. it was our last one sans kid, so we tried to live it up as much as possible. we saw both of our families and extended families over the holidays and spent new years eve with kim and jason playing guitar hero and eating pizza. we also got a video camera from my parents for christmas in order to document all the baby happenings since they don't live in cincy. hopefully i'll be better at doing that than i have been at keeping this blog up to date.

i'm going to try to be better at updating things here for the four people(and glen) that read this thing. i'm sure there will be plenty to say as kim and i head down the home stretch towards our impending doom on march 14th. we've got the nursery almost all setup, thanks in large part to kims parents being so gracious as to buy our crib for us(cribs, and baby stuff in general, are crazy expensive and it's completely out of control but i'll save that for another rant). after the beginning of february, we'll know what we'll need to buy after kims various and sundry baby showers are over. hopefully it won't be much because i don't want to have to sell a kidney to finance it all.

one of these days i'll get around to a michigan post about all the happenings in the football program since they got pounded by osu. AGAIN. hopefully things are going to get better and not worse on that front.
