i bet you all thought that i was never going to update here again. ever. well in order to spite all of you that were thinking and saying that, here's mud in your eye. i'm back. it's been many moons and even though i have treated this blog like a red headed(yes lodwick that means you) step child that i love less than my real children here goes nothing.

alexandra is three months old now and making lots of noise and sleeping through the night(yes!!!!). she's also very good at letting us know when she isn't happy in many expressive ways. kicking, screaming, crying, ignoring us, flailing her arms, ect.

she also got to go to norris lake this past weekend and kim even let me put her in for a second. only up to her waist mind you, cause if i had had my way she would have had her baby lifevest on floating around with me drinking a beer. that's why many in the pediattic community have termed kim as the "good" parent and me as the "your baby might die in your care" parent. it's a good balance i suppose. all in all she's a great baby and we love having her be apart of all the things we do. she even slept for the entire way down and most of the way back from the lake. the time she wasn't sleeping she screamed and burgdorf got to see what it's like when two married adults argue because their baby is having a crisis. poor bastard, i still can't believe that he agreed to carpool with us. :)
