two thousand six post twelve
so i've been really horrible at updating for the last two weeks. it's been an incredibly busy and crazy time. so here goes.
We have put a house under contract in deer park and are waiting for the small repairs to be finished before we close. hopefully we'll be closing next monday and moving that weekend. if you're reading this and live in cincinnati, then yes you are expected to help us move on the 25th.
now all we need to do is buy a washer and dryer as well as a lawn mower and some storage shelving for the basement. those will be the start of some larger purchases to come.
here's a pic of the new crib:
tonight we had to drop almost $600 bones on kim's car for new brake pads and rotors. what a racket. next time i'm just going to figure out how to do it myself. :)
we'll be heading to the newly opened dubliner for st. pattys day on friday. it's gonna be wicked awesome. i'm taking the day off to go eat at gaslight and hang out at the D for the rest of the day. for a night cap we'll be heading to justin and jenn's to celebrate his birthday which is the following day. i'm looking forward to that entire day. it's gonna kick ass and take names. come and join in the fun.
on a down note, pray for leo's family and friends as he passed away sunday night. even if you don't know them or his story, just offer one up for them during a very sad time....

Thanks for posting the house pic... I'll check the BB at work to see if there are any W/D's. BTW, I highly recommend the stainless steel food grade shelves at Costco. They're ~$70 which seems like a lot but they are wheeled and sturdy and will be good for life. I've been collecting them lately and they are worth the extra compared to the crappy $30 shelves that just cram together.
Nice House. Congrats guys!
