two thousand six post twenty nine

it happened again. that's right, i had another birthday again this year. the last one of my 20's, so i plan on being dead by the time the next one comes around. :) it was a really cool weekend of hanging out with close friends and doing all the things i like to do.

to start it off, friday night i went to chicken on the run for some beers, burgers, and fire fries. after than we proceeded to the opening game of the UC basketball season and watched them pound some crappy team from the 1st row with rick, mike and dave(mike's brother in law who has the awesome seats). as a side note, i am almost positive that they put crystal meth in the beers at UC games. good grief is that stuff potent.

on saturday, i watched the Michigan game. they pounded IU to set up the most awesome sporting event in the history of sporting events next saturday(check the countdown above). more to come on that later in the week, osu sucks. that night we went to the dubliner for some drinks with all of my favorite people in cincinnati. it ended up being me, kim, jason, kim, justin, jenn, kt, sparky, brian, rick and becky. it was awesome. all of my best friends in one place for the whole night. one of the best birthdays i've had.

sunday, jason and i went over to sparky's new place to watch the bengals game on his new tv. the tv was awesome and the game i have no comment on because i don't think i could type anything about it without having to throw up.

thanks to all who made my birthday weekend a wicked awesome time....

two thousand six post twenty eight

is anybody else already tired of all the political campaign ads that are being shoved down our throats. i mean seriously, are they trying to wear me down with sheer volume. and the mud slinging seems to be at an all time high. i'll say this, if you want my vote tell me what you will do and not what the other guy/gal hasn't done or won't do. if i have to hear one more time that according to his opponent, steve chabot hates babies or that john cranley kills puppies, i don't know what i'm going to do. i might just vote for mickey mouse, at least he's run a clean campaign to this point. and don't even get me started on those automated phone calls that call to pimp a certain candidate. anyone who sits there and listens to that entire propaganda call ought to have to turn in their driver’s license because obviously they should not be aloud to drive for lack of common sense. what i'm going to do, and i encourage you to do, is find some unbiased information on each candidate/issue and vote your conscience. and you absolutely, unequivocally should vote. people have died to give you that right.
