for the first time since 1976, the UC Bearcats are ranked in the AP football poll at #24. granted that means that they have sucked for a long time, but it also means that there is a new sheriff in clifton. brian kelly has turned that football program around in less than a year. props to BK. keep winning and i'll be at whatever bcs bowl they make it to. GO CATS!!!

michigan also righted the ship by wearing out penn state's defense and winning a key game in the race for the big 10 title. the season can still be saved by beating ohio state and michigan state to win the big 10 title. really ass long as they kick the spartans asses, i'm good....

all the talk that i have abandoned this page are greatly exaggerated. alright, maybe not that exaggerated. so here goes everything interesting that has happened to kim and i since july 25th.

we still don't have all of our couch for the basement. they have delivered three pieces of the sectional and the coffee table, but they lost the fourth piece and had to remake it. they've given me about $100 bucks off so far, but believe me i'll be demanding more. they say we should have it by this saturday and for their sake i hope they do. kim is pretty pissed about the whole situation. all the "theys" in this paragraph refer to sofa express, who are on my list of companies never to do business with again along with starbucks, panera, and pottery barn. don't ask, it's a long story.

on a happier note, kim and i found out in july that we(she) are(is) pregnant. she was 14 weeks yesterday and the due date is march 14th. you should all get your affairs in order because i am about to produce offspring and the end of the world can't be that far behind.

michigan started their season 0-2 and lost to a division 1-aa team. that had never happened before in the history of college football. ever. you can imagine how the first two saturdays of september were for me. it was so nice of all my friends to call me and offer their support during those times. not a one of them called to give me crap. on a side note, does anyone know how to type sarcasm on the interweb.

the bengals lost to the browns yesterday and gave up 51 points in the process. the browns suck and this is going to turn out to be a long season i have a feeling.

the best news of the day to report is that leo(jason and kim's young lad) is going to be released from the hospital today after being born 7 weeks early. this is absolutely stellar news. i couldn't be happier for two people who have been through a lot in the past month. good times....
