this weekend was a ridiculously good time for me and i feel like i earned it after having to go to kim's brother's wedding last weekend. no offense to them, they are great people, but i HATE weddings. other than free food and drinks, they have no saving qualities.

on saturday, i participated in my first ever highland games. our friend kt and his wife joyce put them on every year and i've been before as a spectator but never as a combatant. it was a great day filled with food, beer, expensive/old scotch, great fellowship, and some good old fashion competition.
