30 years ago this past sunday, i was born. i'll give you all a moment to soak that in. good. to celebrate, i went to the uc game in the afternoon and watched them beat the crap out of uconn with rick, jason, and brian. kim's dad gave us the GM seats, so you can imagine how good they were. we parked on the top level of a parking garage that overlooks the campus and drank some beers to pregame. good times.

after the game, we headed over to the dubliner where kim had gotten together a whole bunch of my very best friends to celebrate. we partied late into the night, and kim even made a birthday cake that they let her bring to the bar. over the night, we probably had 20 to 30 people come through to hangout. i loved every minute of it.

kim even remembered to get me some presents as well. she got me a red sox hoodie to celebrate their big world series win and the first season of 30 rock on dvd. next to the office, that's the funniest show on tv.

overall this was one of my best bdays to date fo sho.....

my favorite saturday of the college football season was this past saturday. thats right, it was michigan v. michigan state. i enjoy watching all of the other michigan games throughout the season, but this one is by far is the best. and per the usual, michigan won the game again(their 6th in a row in the series). they let state think they had a chance to win and then went ahead and broke their spirit and ruined their season again with 2 touchdowns in the final 7 minutes. if you could put satisfaction on a plate and eat it, that game and the finish are what it would taste like. i love that coach dumbtonio(the traitor that left UC swinging in the wind last summer) had a big smile on his face when msu scored their last td and he thought they had the game won. how does that crow taste my friend? it was the same as always, the little brother tried to take on the big brother and the little guy got his ass handed to him. very good times....

my sister had her baby on monday afternoon and kim and i were able to go and see them on monday evening. esther elizabeth was 8 pounds 11 ounces and 22 inches long. she was welcomed warmly by her big sister hannah who turned 1 in june. all is well with baby and mom. the pics are courtesy of my brother....
