pulp can move baby!
today is halloween. man i miss the days of dressing up and getting free candy. just because i'm adult, does that mean i no longer like free candy? i'm about to dress up in the old spiderman outfit tonight and get some free treats. after 20 years i should still be able to get into that thing.
spent the weekend at burgdorf's parents farm in mount vernon, indiana this weekend. i think the total count was 15 people. a good trip. we shot clay pigeons, rode the atv, ate noble roman's pizza, had a hayride and bonfire. good times. also learned that spending a weekend with a big group that mostly includes people that are in a bible study that you lead can be very tiring. it sucks when you let one person affect the fun that you're having, but i let it happen near the end of the trip. this person has been the most challenging person i have dealt with in all the studies i have led almost from when they started coming. it's been two years now and it's really starting to wear on my nerves and want to lead a group that this person attends. i guess i need to learn more patience and grace. although it didn't ruin the trip by any means. i suppose it gave me some good perspective about my future as it pertains to leading that study. ;) live, learn and grow....
